World Autism Congress Asia 2010 |
World Autism Congress Asia 2010 (WACA 2010) brings together a distinguished group of renowned experts form the United States, Europe and Australia to offer two broad streams of information exchange on biomedical and educational development in autism. This is the first conference of this magnitude to be held in Hong Kong.
The theme of WACA 2010 is A Roadmap to Recovery. The conference aims to raise awareness, educate and empower those in the autism community including individuals and families with autism spectrum disorder, health professionals, caregivers and educators.
WACA 2010 features expert presentation and panel discussion on behavioral, language and educational development. Attendees will learn about the latest developments in autism research, connect with other families on the same journey and have a great opportunity to network with leading medical professional and researches in the field.

World Autism Organisation (WAO), formally announced in Luxembourg in 1998, aims to improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families worldwide. In collaboration with local and national autism groups, and alliance with international organizations such as UNESCO, WHO and United Nations, WAO provides education and awareness of autism, and organizes autism conferences around the world.

Autism Children Foundation (ACF), a non-profit organization, was founded in 2005 by a group of dedicated parents whose personal experience with their autistic children propelled them to help other families with autism in Hong Kong. ACF’s primary mission is to educate and empower those in the autism community with sharing of information on latest medical research and variable treatment options and therapies for the autistic children. ACF advocates early diagnosis and intervention as an effective strategy towards recovery from autism. In Nov 2008, ACF set up a dedicated program with a comprehensive curriculum for autistic children called the "Hong Kong Junior School (HKJS).

Autism Recovery Network (ARN) is one of the leading Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) services providers in Hong Kong and Singapore, offering proven and intensive training program for autistic children. Services include home based training, shadow support for children in mainstream schools, parent training and social skill play- groups. ARN provides training and professional support to HKJS.
